Warranty Case
In accordance with Latvian legal regulations, SIA “181suns” provides a two-year warranty for DOGTRA products purchased from the online store Dogtra-Baltic.com. In case of a warranty claim, the product is sent to Dogtra Europe (France) for diagnostics and repair. The repaired warranty product is returned to the customer as soon as possible.
SIA “181suns” does not replace the product with a new one or reimburse the repair costs if the product has been misused, improperly maintained, mechanically damaged, or if some of its components are lost (non-warranty case).
SIA “181suns” accepts products for warranty repair only if the customer provides proof of purchase (invoice and bank payment confirmation).
The warranty covers: factory defects and malfunctions that occur during normal use, repairs, and transportation from SIA “181suns” to the service center and back. The customer covers the shipping costs to SIA “181suns” and back.
Non-Warranty Repairs and Post-Warranty Service
Non-warranty cases include: mechanical damage (impacts, falls, etc.), water ingress into the device, damage due to improper use, and other actions leading to device failure. Unauthorized opening or repair of the device. Removal of the serial number or warranty seal. Electronics failures caused by power surges. Irreversible loss of device parts that affect its functionality.
Natural wear and tear of mechanical and electronic components, battery degradation, as well as the aforementioned cases after the warranty period has expired.
Non-Warranty Repair Process:
- The customer delivers the damaged device to us and sends information about the nature of the damage to our email.
- We send the device to the service center for diagnostics, damage assessment, and cost evaluation.
- The customer receives information about the total repair costs.
- Upon customer approval of the repair costs, we issue an invoice for payment.
- The repair cost includes transportation fees from our company to the post-warranty service center and back to the customer. This fee is agreed upon in advance with the customer. For the Baltic countries, this amount will be approximately 35 euros.
- The transportation fee may be reduced to around 15 euros if the customer agrees to receive the repaired device with our next product shipment.
